However it can find application in jewellery and other areas where creation of surfaces with difficult optical properties, in particular in ad publications and the protected trade marks is required. The given technology is applicable and to other metals, such as silver and aluminium. It is absolutely new approach to painting of metals which does not demand application of cancerogenic dyes. The pattern on a metal surface has only 100 нанометров in depth. Selecting certain depth and milling structure, it is possible to supervise, metal absorbs what lengths of waves of light also what reflects. As a result it will be possible to "paint" one metal detail different colours, and with accuracy which is unattainable by means of a usual paint. In particular, it is possible to decorate a silver ring with the most thin strips of red and green colours.
