Компания Google запустила особый сайт Take Action, на котором идет сбор подписей в поддержку свободного и открытого интернета, а также рассказывается о отрицательных последствиях государственного регулирования интернета.
"В свободном мире без границ интернет должен быть доступным. Вероятность повлиять на судьбу интернета должна быть не только у правительств, но и миллиардов интернет-пользователей и технических экспертов во всем мире", - говорится на сайте проекта.
Согласно помещенной на сайте информации, цензура в сети действует уже в 42 странах, а за последние два года правительства разных стран приняли 19 новых законов, ограничивающих волю слова в интернете.
Представители Google также подмечают, что Международный союз электросвязи (МСЭ) намерен внести изменения в Регламент международной электросвязи, впрочем данные метаморфозы обсуждаются только представителями правительств, а не интернет-компаниями. При этом все материалы по изменениям засекречены, утверждают в компании.
В начале декабря в Дубае должна пройти конференция Интернационального союза электросвязи, где будут, в частности, обсуждаться вопросы регулирования интернета.
Пользователи, разделяющие позицию компании Google, могут оставить на сайте Take Action свою подпись. При этом Google оставляет за собой право опубликовать на сайте Take Action имя пользователя, подписавшего петицию, и информацию о его местоположении.

"In a free world without borders the Internet should be accessible. Possibility to affect destiny of the Internet should be not only at the governments, but also billions Internet users and technical experts all over the world", - is told on a project site.
According to the information placed on a site, censorship in a network operates already in 42 countries, and in the last two days the governments of the various countries have accepted 19 new laws limiting a freedom of speech on the Internet.
Representatives Google also notice that the International union of telecommunication (МСЭ) intends to make changes to Regulations of the international telecommunication, however the given changes are discussed only by representatives of the governments, instead of the Internet companies. Thus all materials on changes are coded, marks confirm in the company.
As remind RIA Novosti news agency, in the beginning of December in Dubai there should pass conference of the International union of telecommunication where questions of regulation of the Internet will be discussed, in particular.
The users, companies Google sharing a position, can leave the signature on site Take Action. Thus Google reserves the right to itself to publish on site Take Action the user name, signed the petition, and the information on its site.
