Презентация суперкомпактного планшетного компьютера, прозванного корреспондентами iPad mini, может состояться 23 октября, информирует РБК daily со ссылкой на заокеанские СМИ. Компания теснее разослала приглашения корреспондентам ведущих профильных изданий. На приглашении изображено белое яблоко, а надпись снизу гласит: "У нас для вас есть нечто еще". Мероприятие пройдет в городе Сан-Хосе (штат Калифорния). Как предположили специалисты, корпорация представит уменьшенный вариант планшета и анонсирует выход выпуск 13-дюймового MacBook Pro с экраном высокой четкости Retina.



   Наблюдатели подмечали, что iPad mini должен стать результатом корпорации на происхождение недорогих планшетных компьютеров от фирм-соперников. Новейший гаджет имеет 7-дюймовый дисплей Retina и четырехъядерный процессор, он владеет оперативной памятью в 512 МБ и снабжен общей камерой. Ориентировочная стоимость устройства составит от 249 до 299 баксов. Это немножко огромнее, чем цена аналогичного планшета Google Nexus 7. Первым реально удачным 7-дюймовым планшетом стал Amazon Kindle Fire, представленный около года назад, напоминает РИА "Новости". После этого схожую модель выпустила компания Barnes & Noble, а в этом году к ним присоединилась Google. Все они делают ставку на низкую стоимость своих продуктов, начинающуюся с 160-200 баксов, что лишь немножко превышает себестоимость. Зарабатывать же изготовители решили за счет продажи контента. Что касается обновленной версии компьютера Mac mini, то, по сообщениям источников СМИ, она будет выпускаться в 2-х конфигурациях, в зависимости от объема памяти и процессора. Третья новая модель будет трудиться на OS X Server. Она поступит в продажу сразу позже презентации.
