Представители компании демонстрировали новое устройство в шумных выставочных условиях - специально, чтоб посетители имели возможность лично оценить новую технологию и убедиться, что по качеству звука оно ничуть не уступает стандартным мобильникам с обычными динамиками.
В Kyocera говорят, что их новая модель, получившая наименование Urbano Progresso, - первое в мире устройством, где на практике применяется технология проводимости звука тканями человеческого тела: звуковые волны от телефона попадают именно во внутреннее ухо, минуя барабанную перепонку за счет эксплуатации эффекта "тканевой и костной проводимости".
На практике такая технология позволяет слышать то, что заявляет вам собеседник, даже в весьма шумных условиях, к примеру на улице или на вокзале. Пригодится новинка и людям с ослабленным слухом. Вибрацию производит блок под названием Smart Sonic Receiver, находящийся в верхней части телефона. Вместе с телефоном поставляются тоже и наушники, использующие ту же технологию.
В смартфоне поставлена ОС Android 4.0. Также, мобильник имеет 4-дюймовый экран и 8-мп камеру. Корпус телефона ударопрочный и водонепроницаемый. Вдобавок к этому, устройство поддерживает японский формат сотового телевидения и местную систему бесконтактных платежей.
